Visiting a fire station

Visiting a fire station is mainly designed for children. These visits allow them to discover the firefighter profession and, more importantly, to learn essential fire prevention tips. It’s never too early to develop good safety habits!

If you would like to visit with a school group, please contact the Laval Fire Safety Service’s Operations Division at: divoperations.inc@laval.ca.

If you want to take a look inside one of our stations, we have prepared a virtual tour of Fire Station 5 in Saint-François. It is one of the most modern stations in Laval and has earned LEED Gold certification.

The mobile fire station is an interactive experience designed to educate families and children about fire hazards at home. It is available for private or public events upon request if you respect the even criterias :

  • The event must be outdoors.
  • At least 500 attendees are expected.
  • The site must be accessible from a public road with a firm, flat, obstacle-free surface (not grass).
  • A large enough area (60 m x 30 m) is required for a trailer truck.
  • An electrical outlet must be available.

For private companies or non-eligible organizations :

450 662-4450 or divprevention.inc@laval.ca.

For municipal organizations :

Contact your municipal representative. A member of the Fire Safety Service’s prevention division will follow up with you.
